Roseneath Estates has announced that Nidd Steel Buildings Ltd has been awarded the contract to build the Block D Mixed Development site adjacent The National Maritime Museum, Falmouth.
Nidd Steel is about to commence construction, with the new development planned for completion in Q1 2019. The scheme will provide 2 units for use as shops or studios. On the first floor are two apartments which are to be accessed off Campbeltown Way. At the end of the block nearest, the sea is a two-storey shower and laundry block for use by boat owners using the marina. Two car parking spaces are to be provided for the flats and 12 visitor parking spaces for the use of people in the adjoining Campbeltown housing complex.
Nidd Steel are designing, supplying, fabricating, delivering and erecting structural steelwork to form a rigid podium for the first-floor SIP construction, provided by SIP Energy. Nidd Steel will net first-floor steelwork, lay Kingspan composite metal decking and concrete first floors to provide SIP Energy with the level platform they require.
